14th Anniversary of Zoroastrian House in Singapore Celebrated with Joy and Community Spirit

The Zoroastrian community in Singapore came together to celebrate the 14th anniversary of their Zoroastrian House in a weekend filled with warmth, tradition, and camaraderie. Festivities kicked off with a vibrant children’s event organized by Hoshaang Gotla, founder of XYZ, alongside some committee members. This event was met with great enthusiasm from both children and parents, featuring interactive leadership games ending on a delicious note.

The celebrations continued the following morning (Sunday 27th April) with a khushali nu Jashan honouring our heritage and invoking blessings for the community. This was followed by an engaging and insightful presentation by the Guest of Honour, Hoshaang Gotla, on the activities of XYZ, which was very well received by all in attendance. In appreciation of his contributions, the PZAS committee presented him with a special token of gratitude.

We were also honoured by the presence of Viraf Mehta, Chairman of the Bombay Parsi Panchayat, who attended the event while on a personal visit to Singapore. His presence added to the significance of the occasion.

The event concluded with a hearty, finger licking, in-house meal lovingly prepared by our dedicated volunteers. With over 100 attendees, the celebration was not only a success but a testament to the strength and unity of our Zoroastrian community in Singapore.

The enthusiasm and fervour was evident, given the fact that the Parsi Zoroastrian Association of Singapore will be playing host, next year to the World Zoroastrian Congress 2026.
